You mean besides Kendrick Perkins?

Nobody is going to like this but I'm leaning towards Magic.

I also feel like if you trade Duncan to the Bulls and Jordan goes to the Spurs the Bulls are still great and the Spurs never do much.

I find Jordan's attempt at baseball laughable as if he had tried ice dancing.

I think Rodman was the best defensive player of probably any era.

Stockton and Malone perfected the pick and roll

Bird perfected shooting

Lebron perfected quitting really taking it to an entirely different level never seen before in sports.

Thats EASY

DR "J"

Just watch some old ABA film of the VA Squires. You can see where MJ was learning his chops.

In my lifetime?  Born in 83, it's MJ.  No one else is even close.  In my adult life i.e. post Jordan I think it is pretty close between Kobe, Duncan and LeBron.  Obviously they all have years left, albeit Duncan probably only 1 or 2, but how they finish up their careers will impact who is the greatest between those 3.  Also, if we are going to go back to the 80's and talk about Bird and Magic, Kareem should be included in this.  6 titles and 6 MVP's.  I mean he's 25 and 11 for his career, the NBA's all time leading scorer and won a title before being paired with Magic.
kareem is automatically banned from the list for being the worst whiner ever

Greatest Whiner in your NBA history?

Ah, give him a statue... ::)

Rasheed Wallace whined way more in a quarter than Kareem did in a decade

Doesn't Sheed hold the record for most fouls or ejections?

Born in '90, my first basketball memory is Paul Pierce entering his first game. I asked my dad who he was, and I was told "the future."

He's the greatest player I've ever been fortunate to see play. To me, Paul Pierce is better than the NBA. He is The Celtics. He is the best of my time.

Russell.  Most dominant player ever, understood that the game happens in between the stats.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Players I saw on a regular basis are probably prime Shaq and Duncan. Kobe too I guess although I think he's the most overrated player in NBA history.
