With Fathers day being a month away I thought I would start this up.  I always have a tough time thinking of something to get my pops so I was thinking the sons out there could post some ideas that have gone over well in prior years or what they are getting this year, and the fathers out there can post what they want!

So far this is what im thinking.  My dad doesnt even tailgate but loves the tailgating for family bbq's

I'd like a complete set of Nike VR Pro (Graphite) golf clubs, (I can dream, can't I?). I'll probably get a necktie or a gift card.

I'm getting my Dad a Nike SQ Mach Speed Driver. Done. :)

Last year I gave my father tickets to a Lowell Spinners game (minor league baseball), and I've done this same this year.

If your father likes sports, tickets to a game is always a safe choice, and a fun one too  :)

  • Another undersized Celtic...
I get my Dad personalized golf balls from golfballsdirect.com
There's a ton of different brands and qty sizes to choose from and you can print two or three lines on each ball. It's pretty helpful--how many times have you been on a links course and had guys driving into your fairway? How many times are they playing the same ball with the same number (it strangely happens to me alot). My Dad loves them. I should get some for myself!

Wow ... that was my gift to my Dad for many years ... his favorite. He's got heart trouble now so he doesn't drink anymore, but he loved his Crown Royal, and he was hard to shop for. He used to raz me for mixing it with ginger ale ... "That's for sippin', not mixin'!" he would tell me. ;)
