and decided to stink it up on offense: only 75 points for the game on 34.1% shooting (including just 3 of 20 on threes), featuring a miserable 10-point fourth quarter. Yes, Miami's defense was pretty good, but I saw nearly the whole thing, and Chicago just missed a lot of open looks, from the first quarter on.

Hmmm, good offense at the start but almost nonexistent in the fourth? Where have I seen that before?

I didn't watch but apparently the refs screwed the Bulls. Seems familiar too.

I did watch and they didn't. Bulls shot 3-20 from 3 and 16-26 from the FT line. That screwed the Bulls.

Absolutely not. The Heat got hosed on a bunch of calls. Just one of those nights where the Bulls got outplayed.

Bulls couldn't buy a basket. Open looks and miss after miss. Stupid TO by the Bulls too.

Now given the above you throw in the lopesided calls or poor officating , why the Bull couldn't win that game.

STARS get all the GOOD calls .

So its  three to one in officiating going to HEAT .... WADE and LBJ are going to get all the calls their way.  Its got so bad , that it makes a joke out of a real sport.  Its obvious the refs have been TOLD do not foul out the Stars ..... we need TV ratings and fan appeal.

Tonight the BULLs found out what it was like to be BOSTON this year.

If the league and the game is rigged, it should be Lakers/Celtics every year in the finals.

The Spurs and the Nets would have never made it to the Finals ever.

The Bulls go on really bad offensive droughts if Rose is not scoring...

Also, I saw the Bulls run the arc play from the Celtics on possession. It was great haha

If Chicago had Perk they would not have gone on a cold streak.  He would have been the difference maker for them tonight (ailing knees and all).

As a matter of fact, if the Celtics hadn't traded Perk they would be playing Chicago right now and would be up 2-0 because Perk was that good. Boston was NEVER out-rebounded with him in the lineup so there is no way Miami could have controlled the boards. He has almost singlehandedly carried OKC to the WCF.

Durant, Westbrook and company would be useless without that anchor in the middle. Perk has already blocked 8 shots in 13 playoff games and is rolling offensively with one (1) playoff game where he has scored more than 7 points so far.

Don't let his +/- numbers below fool you........they got their $9 million dollar man for the 2011 playoff run and the Celtics clearly lost out!

17wasEZ, I get the impression that you're being deliberately ironic right there.

I mean how could they not take a page from the Celtics playbook, our assistant coach is running the same defense he ran with us over there. Tommy T is doing a great job running a version of the Celtics system over there.

In my opinion Rose kept trying to force the issue and ended up taking a lot of contested/bad shots.  The Bulls as a team had no offensive rhythm as a result.

Offense was certainly the problem for the Bulls last night.  Just cold shooting.  They were also giving the Heat way too many 2nd chance scoring opportunities.  Its a no-brainer that you can't give a superstar-laden team like Miami those extra opportunities because they will convert or get to the line.

The referees really had nothing to do with it.

From a defensive standpoint, I didn't see much of a fall-off for the Bulls from Game One.  I thought they played well.  Heat just made some clutch (tough) shots when they had too.
