Dirk has been the MVP of the playoffs so far, easily, though that might look different if refs would allow opposing teams to actually put some D on him.

Wade is the current mvp of the playoffs. If he hadn't injured Rondo the Heat might be sitting at home having an offseason tantrum right now, he baited PP into getting tossed in game 1, and his play has been pretty good as well.

I don't see how trying to hurt players by pulling them down because you lose your balance trying to foul them or while you're getting fouled and you're both in the air (Pierce) makes you MVP.

Getting Pierce thrown out was actually smart but he didn't do it the BS refs did.  We'll never know what they were saying to each other, but my guess is Wade said the worst possible thing he could think of trying to get Paul to give him a "face rub," however nothing Pierce said back could have warranted throwing him out of a playoff game.  They NEVER would have called a double technical for talking if Wade already had 1.

That doesn't put him ahead of Dirk, although his play has been pretty good.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I was being somewhat facetious about the MVP, but Wade didn't lose his balance.

Yes, getting PP thrown out was smart.

Rondo knocked the ball away and it looked like Wade started stumbling backwards trying to commit the loose ball foul rather than just grabbing him and chancing a clear path.  When Rondo didn't go down Wade threw his left leg out behind Rondo's legs and pushed him over it with his right arm.

You can see the push at the beginning and then at 0:44 you can see the other angle because they obviously don't show them together.  Breen claims his leg came out from under him but it looked like he had regained his balance from Rondo pushing him and did it completely intentionally.

Yes, getting PP thrown out was smart.

Again, TRYING to get PP thrown out was smart and if he got a real reaction out of Pierce I'd give him the credit but I highly doubt his plan was to get him tossed by making Paul swear/say something mean to him.

The smart thing was recruiting LeBron to Miami and making them the most unfairly officiated team ever.
