Russell was nearly a world class high jumper while still in High School. Does that help everybody to understand what we had and what he was? Add in maybe the most incredibly competitive athlete ever and you really had something. Im truly blessed to see his last two years and feel that I know no one was ever better. He had his own way. He paced himself somewhat. But without creating mass turmoil here, it would be like watching KG and watching him take over games 75% of the time, always defensively and getting every rebound and watching every player freeze in the lane. Russ would't challenge every shot but the player wouldn't know which ones it would be

Well, as he said the trick is not to block every shot -- it's to make the opponent think that you can block every shot.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
“We won,” Russell said, “because of comradeship, friendship and teamwork.”

And people are still arguing over why we lost?!?!??!

TP, We win or lose with comradeship, friendship, and teamwork.
I like Marcus Smart

And the team that beat us is clearly a paragon in these areas.
