Yes, and you're completely undeterred by the way the team looked without him in the playoffs. Agree to disagree.

What do you mean? With an injured Rondo, Boston lost two close games. With a healthy Rondo, the Celtics weren't close to winning the first two games. I don't see your logic.

Of course you don't. In our four losses to the Heat we were outscored by a total of 38 points. With Rondo on the floor we were a -1. With Rondo on the bench (a total of 55 minutes) we were a -37. That's like getting outscored by 32 in a 48 minute game. Throw in our win and we were a +18 for the series with Rondo playing, even though he played almost half his minutes with a pretty useless arm.

So you put all your stock into the +/- stat. Do you not care about any other stats? Here's game 1 for Rondo: 8 points, 3 steals, 7 assists, 5 turnovers, 7 rebounds, 3-10 from the field. This was a bad game, plain and simple.

You realize Joel Anthony had the greatest +/- stat in the playoffs for a while. Does that mean he is better than LeBron James and Dwayne Wade?

No, I don't put all my stock into the plus/minus stat. We were talking about how the team looked without Rondo in the playoffs. I think putrid covers it, as I illustrated. I'd say whether they got outscored or not might play into things, although you'd probably disagree. And, yes, Rondo didn't play that great in game 1. Ray was bad in game 2, KG had a couple of bad games and PP did as well. What's your point?
