Hold back Jeff Green and don't teach/train/coach him too much in the Celtics system in the 2010-2011 season after getting him in the trade. Do not play Green the minutes the C's should have in the 2011 playoffs. Now the Celtics can sign him for a cheaper, more economical price. C's Sign Green. Send Green to Celtics training camp, train/coach the heck out of him. Showcase Green minutes and Ainge even tries to get Doc to start him over Paul Pierce. Green puts up numbers and impacts the Celtics for wins. Now Green is more valuable than his contract pays him which makes him more attractive to trade (with others) for Dwight Howard, packaged with Rondo for Chris Paul or else.

Are you suggesting that we blow the last year of the big 3 era just so we have a better chance at landing a big name free agent or saving money? Come on man.
