Yeah, it wasn't a huge improvement, but what the numbers show is that Green scored more inside in Boston than he did as a SF in OKC. I'd love to see Green attack the basket aggressively and to go into the post more.
As would I. I am really hoping he does come back on the QO, since I really think there is something there, and I want to see more of him, where he has more time to assimilate and fit into the right role.
My biggest issue with the trade was that the C's have shown over and over again over the last few years that they really have trouble assimilating guys midseason, and this was (perhaps) another case of that.
Don't get me wrong, I in no way think Jeff Green is going to be a star, however, I do think he can be a much more dangerous player than he was. I think we saw flashes of what he can do in the Heat series, and it seemed like he was coming around a bit, but I really want to see what he can do with a little more time to be integrated into the system, so they can learn how best to use him, and he can learn where he fits in.
