Anyone else noticed how well Delonte West played D on Wade?

delonte has always been a solid defender. he's a perfect player for this team (well...if he can stay healthy). a guy who can do a little of everything off the bench. hope we resign him this offseason.

"If he can stay healthy", though correct, seems a little harsh. Don't you think? The wrist was obviously great, great misfortune.

He's always had injury problems, not that he's soft... it's more about the way he plays. Delonte really lays it out on the line.

I have a short list of NBA players that"gets it"between the ears as well as being an athlete on the court,D.West is on that list.

Don't rule it out that this cat might be our starting PG next year... Rondo is going to be shopped HARD this offseason.

I don't think he really increased his value because of all his injuries and his issues with Wafer.  That is a good thing.  If we can bring him back real cheap, it's a potential steal.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Talent has never been the issue with D.West. The problem has always been health. Mental and Physical unfortunately. With all that in mind, I'm down for another year of Delonte.

If Danny relies on DWest as our starting PG next year, he should be traded for a new club mascot.

We'll see, but unless Danny trades Rondo for Dwight Howard this team won't win with Delonte as our starting pg.

Sign me up for more Delonte. Healthy, he's a great addition to the bench.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I'm not saying I don't want Delonte on the team, just not as a starting pg.

Delonte could be a starting 2 guard, and bring Ray off the bench.
