Just saw 'Bron's quote apologizing for 'the Decision', and noticed he gives serious props to the Celtics:

Quote
The way it panned out with all the friends and family and fans back home, I apologize for the way it happened. ... As much as I loved my teammates back in Cleveland, as much as I loved home, I knew I couldn't do it by myself against that team.

"that team" being the Celtics...

Can't say it makes me feel any better about losing, but in all honesty it's better to lose to a team that prides itself on being a "team" rather than the one-man show/prima-donna lakers.  Here is hoping Danny maneuvers some miracles this offseason.

Pretty weak "apology" ... it's easy to be gracious when things are going your way. He never would have said this had they not won the series, and it's long past due to carry much weight. I'm not impressed at all.

Shut up, LeBron. Just shut up and play ball. Chicago is waiting for you and Rose is going to light your pg's up. Go Bulls!

We'll never know whether he would have. But it's still better than nothing, and previously in such situations he would have been flexing his biceps at midcourt. Maybe he'll learn some day.

He pretty much said that his teammates at Cleveland suck!

It'll be fun to watch LeBron play in this "promote and protect the stars" league once he is over 30....I wonder how his ego will react to "mortal treatment"

It's not as if the Cleveland team was terrible. In fact, it was really really good. Without LeBron, no, it was a bad team. But it was literally built entirely around him. You had a bunch of perfect role players. Remember a lesser version of that team took us 7 games during the title run (the refs helped them at home, but they were still pretty good). The two seasons following that one, that team was much improved. In fact, I'd argue that team was, on paper, the best in the game last year, and possibly the previous year as well.

I'm glad the Celtics give him nightmares and is constantly on his mind. Let's keep it that way.

Become Legendary.

They kinda did...

And normally that's not the right thing to say.  But only if they are still your teammates.  If they aren't, then who cares.

His agent needs to work something into his contract where every time Lebron opens his mouth he owes his agent a thousand dollars of compensation

He acts like it's over... He has still got some basketball left to play before he wins the first of his seven rings in Miami...

LBJ was actually very respectful in his post game interview too.  He said it was the toughest battle he's ever had.

Very similar to the quote from Kobe after they beat us last year.  We may not win, but we're going to play you to the wire, [dang]it
