Think off that happened after this injury, all we lost, all we gained. He was playing lights out both way and was huge in our 2 wins vs miami.

He was the reason we lost Perk, and had he stayed healthy Wade And Lebron might not have gone so nuts

Really crazy to think that someone who was often one of the least-noticeable guys on the floor caused such a re-tooling but it seems to be true.

It's sad but true.  The day he went down so did the Celtics.

Crazy but true. I had always thought that it was a huge risk to trust our only swingman spot to a guy known for being injury-prone though. Never thought it would blow up in our faces like this though

Yup, many people don't think about it.

But, that was a freak accident/injury.

Bring back Quis!

Agreed, if healthy he can be a HUGEEEEEE asset especially vs the Heat.

Plus, we can get him for the minimum

It's definitely something that doesn't get talked about a lot, but it has a lot of truth to it. Very sad, unfortunate injury...

Maybe...but watching Perk, it is clear he's not right. And not torn-knee related (which is obvious, anyway)...he's still struggling with the knee injury he had before we traded him. But it still does suck...because that was a freak injury, and it did trigger the trade. Of course, had Perk not torn his knee, we would've spent the MLE on a wing, not JO. We also probably would have won the title last year. But...this can keep going backwards.

I wouldn't say he was the downfall but we missed him big time our D took a hit and he finished around the rim

Had Perk not gotten hurt and accepted our offer, the OKC trade wouldn't have happened either.

Danny would have traded our 1st rounder for A. Parker.

Very very true. Quis doesnt get hurt, we dont need a back up SF and we keep our starting center in tact with the starting unit. Too good to be true. What if...

You could be right. ;D
Whats interesting is that Marquis when healthy at the backup SF was a much more effective player than Green.
