Just heard it in the presser. Follows it up with "I am a Celtic". Brought tears to my eyes.

I wasn't happy with his coaching in the series. But maybe the tools he had just weren't enough, I don't know. Hard to say.
Celtics' turn on switch for the playoffs: the last bastion of hope for battered Celtic fans.

I  do not think any other coach would have done better. He is a celtics, he has heart, he has pride.

good......naht

I love Doc. but he could have done a better job subbing this series. But to his defense, everyone was so [dang] inconsistent! that makes it tough to sub correctly.

It was good to hear cause I don't think I'd rather have anyone else running this team.

I love the loyalty...but next year is going to be even worse as our players age another season.  Especially in the post

This is shocking.  I thought for sure Doc would be the first to leave with KG retiring soon after.

A shortened season (if it happens) will help us for sure!

Doc coming back will be the first piece in the domino, I doubt KG will want to retire knowing that Doc is coming back.

I never understood the expectation that he'd leave after this year. Not that he couldn't, but with all of his kids in college he has less of a reason to leave than he's had at any point in time since he started coaching here.
