I can't believe they won the championship tonight. Reminds me of when we won it after the Cav's series in 08... ::)

Dear Lebron,
if you're lucky enough to get past Chicago, Dirk will be waiting to put a whooping upon you in the Finals.  You won't win a Championship this year.
Sincerely,
Prof. Clutch

I thought his interview with Sager after the game was very classy. And frankly, the C's are the best team they were going to face all postseason. All season long, a ton of writers and fans thought the Heat couldn't beat the C's and all that garbage because they're not enough of a "team" and LeBron wasn't a good enough "closer" or whatever. LeBron dominated this series for the most part and put all those criticisms to rest for the most part. I'd be emotional too if I was him. Does anyone seriously think the Bulls will put up more of a fight than the C's with their one dimensional offense? The Mavs? Grizzlies? The Thunder?

If the Heat lose a series for the rest of the post season, it will be because of an injury.

The fact that he decided to change to Russell's #6 because he didn't want the #23 Jordan wore says it all. It showed that he doesn't understand the players that laid the groundwork for him to be a good player. He's an imbecile. I don't feel like getting worked up because at the end of the day, he's just a rich, pompous, egotistical mama's boy.

Also, keep traveling, Lebron. You'll never be one of the greatest.

Here's another way to look at it:

When a team ages and begins to lose its edge, the team must adapt. It must become wily -- cunning, like a fox, able to kill its prey with a thousand tiny pin pricks.

Those pin pricks come from discipline.

Without discipline, we fell short against the Heat. They have more athleticism, more shooting, more rebounding, more range, younger legs, and better health.

As a team, we did not maintain the discipline necessary to outfox the Heat and turn their aggression against them. Instead, we began to play them matching our legs, our athleticism, our shooting against theirs. We played on the same basis as the Heat, and in that sense -- yes. We lost to a better team. Because we put our eggs into baskets that represented aspects of the game we were over-matched in.

As Tortoises, we tried to outrun the hairs, rather than slicking the track with oil and turning the hairs's wanton aggression, energy, and speed against them.

A lesson to be learned, perhaps.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Congratulations to Lebron James and the rest of the Miami Heat.

Are you... are you 'that guy'?

The showmanship doesn't bother me. It was his moment to enjoy after taking so much crap from people myself included. Have at it hoss!

I will never believe in you Lebron. I know, KNOW you will cry about something when the going gets really tough. You just beat a tough team, but you know you didn't beat them at their best. When Tibs leads his Bulls over your showboating ass, you will blame everything from a pimple on your elbow to socks that are too tight and we know it.

You, my friend, are a chump. You can take your talents to the golf course in a couple of weeks.

I'd love him on this team though.
Heck no I would never in a million years want him on my team. The manchild yes manchild is talented, but his ego and arrogance is the worse thing to happen to the NBA since Kobe. I don't hate him, but I despise his ways. Yes the heat won congrats, but it had to take two top 5 players to join together along with a top 15 player in their primes to go and beat the elderly celtics because the two top 5 players couldn't seem to beat the elderly celtics on their own teams. Yes Boston had a big 3, but they weren't assembled together in their prime like Miami was and they didn't have secret meetings and make themselves look like fools declaring championship wins before they played the darn game. They will make the NBA a superteam organization and if it happens (which it has started with New York and now CP3 wanting to join his buddies) I will officially turn away from the NBA.
LeBron and shockingly DWade and their egos disgust me to no end and I will fully support the bulls or mavs to win because one thing I hope will not happen would be that they win in one year like Boston did.

They beat us.

They played like studs.

We didn't have it in us to overcome them.

We didn't play like we deserved to win.

Ego? You mean confidence? Because after tonight, I completely changed my view on Lebron James. I would never think he would make this Miami team reach the top. No way, his ego too big to let Wade or anyone else take his shots. But as we all realized, Lebron's attitude changed. He talked about sacrificing, playing as a team, playing defense, and all those were on display. And what is wrong with him joining forces with another top player? He couldn't beat us on his own, so he got help and now he just beat us. Was he suppose to reject coming to Miami to play with Wade because Wade is too good of a player? That's ridiculous. The man realized the importance of playing together and playing defense. I know I am gonna get a lot of hate for saying this, but I am proud of Lebron, he finally realized what is important and he took the once in a life time opportunity to succeed.
