I realize many people are looking for a goat but its not him... Played solid defense, hit timely shots, the last turnover wasn't his fault (Paul threw a bad pass), and I *think* he got fouled on that last drive. Need to see the tape though. It would be a mistake to not bring him back, at least on the qualifying offer.

Jeff Green was the only fresh legs on the team. and Doc made a terrible decision waiting so long to get him in the game. By the end of the game, Green was rusty, but fresh. KG, pierce, Ray, delonte were all toast.

I'm sorry but this game was the nail in the coffin for me regarding Jeff Green.  He was overwhelmed playing for this team from day one and he choked more times than I can cite just in this 4th quarter.

DA please trade Jeff Green!

Yes, it's Green's fault the celtics only scored 14 points in the 4th, despite the fact that he only played 5 minutes in the 4th?

It's his fault he went out with the celtics ahead 81-74 and came back when the game was 90-87 for the heat? It's his fault that the celtics were outscored 16-6 while he sat down in the 4th?

If you're looking for a goat, blame Pierce. He didn't communicate on the transition three point shot James Jones hit. It looked like Allen picked up LeBron, Pierce should have picked up Jones. Pierce picked up no one. Pierce also let LeBron hit two dagger threes again tonight, and that's after Pierce let LeBron hit a dagger three last game. Sure, he was "defending" him. But you really have to get up in LeBron's face, force him to drive, and force him to make a play. You can't be content letting LeBron shoot those threes because you can hit those.



I was happy with Jeff Green tonight. He missed a tough layup, and mishandled a really tough and kind of a strange pass by Pierce.

Jeff has room to grow, and I believe a season where he gets to be part of the training camp could do him a lot of good.  He's a project, but he's in a team friendly situation with his impending restricted free agency.  I hope and expect that he'll be a part of the immediate future moving forward.

You have to wonder if having the big 3 barking at him all the time is what's hurting his confidence. He was really a much more confident player in OKC. I'm interested to seeing what an offseason to think and a whole training camp can do. He's probably killed his value with what's happened this season, so I think Celtics fans would be very disappointed with the return that we would get for him. I maintain my position that Jeff Green has upside and we should at least give him another year

What game were people watching?  The Jeff Green I saw played pretty well tonight.  Of the two late TO's, one was a horrid pass from Pierce.  He was the only one going to the hole down the stretch.  Whoever the goat may be, it's not Green tonight.
