I think he'll go to NJ / Brooklyn.  I'm praying that Orlando doesn't take a trade package from LA for him.

I prefer he gets shipped out to the Western conference.

Going to NJ to team up with Williams could make for an extremely difficult Atlantic Division.

it'l be so hard for him to stay i mean orlando has no flexibilty to do anything after taking on gilbert & hedo so i think he'll go to brooklyn or boston since both teams will have already proven players & is able to add role players after signing dwight

I think the Lakers will go after him with great intensity, and that's where he'll end up, unfortunately. Where would I like him to go? No answer required there. ;)

I think LA has probably become the frontrunner at this point.

It'll be interesting to see what NJ does this summer. I think that will decide how big a hand they will play in the Dwight Howard sweepstakes.

Miami trades Chris Bosh, Mario Chalmers and Mike Miller for Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson.

Starting 5 of Howard/Haslem/ James/ Wade/ Nelson would be sick.

That would suck more than the Lakers getting him.  But I think Dwight wants me to be the man on whatever team he goes to, not #3.

I disagree.  I don't want to see the Lakers get a ticket to continued relevance.  Plus, while the Celtics are wallowing in the rebuilding phase for the next few years, I'd like to be able to cheer for an Atlantic division team that has an actual chance at winning in the playoffs.  If the Nets got Dwight, they'd be able to prevent the Knicks from controlling the division.

IMO it is either NJ or LA.  I think Orlando will trade him, and will want a young center in return, and those are the two best options.

If the Celtics can land Chris Paul, then Dwight coming to Boston has a small chance of happening. If the Celtics can't land Paul, there's zero chance Dwight is coming here.

I think Dwight is going to the Lakers. L.A. will throw everything at Orlando to get him. I wouldn't be surprised if they gave up both Gasol and Bynum for Howard, which would be impossible for Orlando to turn down. Odom is the perfect power forward to play next to Howard, anyway.

If Dwight coming to Boston, in any way involves the Celtics getting rid of Rondo. I want no part of it. Simple as that.

If Dwight is smart enough to realize how Perfect a fit he would be in an offense including Rajon Rondo, then i'll be the happiest fan in the world.

But when the Big 3 retire, Rajon Rondo will be the only true Celtic left in the league. (not including perk.)

I don't know where he goes, but I was watching ESPN a month ago and they brought up would he go with CP3 or Rondo in Boston. I found interesting since I didn't think they would talk about Boston and not LA. I also was on this website and they were talking about Kobe and the Lakers and a person said they would see him coming to Boston before going to LA because of Kobe wanting to still be the top dog.
I do hope he goes to Boston and if so I hope Danny gets the help to keep the championships coming. LA did it in the early 2000's so I hope they do it in Boston. Would love to see some more championships and help derail the Miami 3 of getting not 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 championships.

I don't think Dwight is a good match with Rondo, they are both poor free throw shooters.  I think he would rather team up with a guy like CP or Deron Williams.

Would you rather the team wallow in mediocrity (30-45 wins each season) with a "true Celtic" in Rondo rather than win 50+ games each season with Dwight Howard?

If the Celtics build around Rondo without any other superstar to be the main man, the Celtics will be mired in mediocrity, have no doubt about that.
