Would have been nice to take this game, but the Heat were attacking the basket all night.

Not really sure why Doc is going small with Miami. I think we struggle to match them with a small ball lineup. Rondo, DWest playing together makes us very vulnerable to offensive rebounds.

Would like to see us force them to stay big by playing JO and KG at the ends of games....

I think we could take game 5, but it will take a superhuman effort. also hoping to get one game out of Shaq...

Shaq is done. Even if he gets on the court he will give nothing. Big Baby is so out of shape right now it is incredible. The bench other than Delonte and an occasional good play from Green is awful. This series/season/era is coming to an end.

I'm not ready to cash it in. but our interior defense is definitely a weakness with Shaq not able to play near the level he did at the beginning of the season.

I was happy enough with the smaller lineup but they have to do a better job of getting out in transition when they go to it. They did that in Game 3 but failed to do so tonight.

If Jeff Green hadn't of made that turnover and if the guards had of pushed the ball harder instead of walking it up ... it is a different result.

The lineup was fine. The players didn't perform well enough to win.

If I had to pick on reason we lost this series, it was because of help defense.  They were attacking and the bigs just weren't quick enough on their rotations to contest a lot of shots without fouling

In short, the Celtics are too old / unathletic, and lacking in size outside of the starting lineup.

Father time has finally caught up with the C's. 

I just don't think another year is going to help this starting lineup with out the help of a MAJOR STAR...not a possible future star but a MAJOR impact player young player to lean on.

I hope JO stays , he is an asset still , as a great backup center and he maybe even better next year.

yeah, I think we are giving them the advantage forcing us to go small.

LBJ
Bosh

we could easily go

Rondo or West
Ray
Paul
KG
JO

KG can rotate out to the wing if need be and we have a big advantage on the offensive end.

I don't like letting them dictate our lineup.

Well, that's not true. We did it most of this season including game 3...

It's actually the Heat going small (by using Bosh at the 5) and we are countering.  Maybe this was part of their game plan assuming they would face a healthy Shaq?  In that case they know Anthony and Z can't match up with JO and Shaq.

By the way during the new big three era, our rebounding and interior presence has always been below par; we use our other strengths to offset that.  We have been losing games the past 3 months due to lack of execution on the offensive end.  Sure teams are going to have bad quarters with 13-15 point outputs.  But the frequency we've had them is amazing.  Not even bad teams experience these types of droughts so often.  What makes it more amazing is we supposedly have one of the best passing point guards and 3 starters who have amassed over 20K points in their careers.

The C's needed to score 14 points in the 4th Q tonight to win the game.  They had to claw their way back into the game to get it into OT; for a whopping 13 point 4th Q.
