No matter what happened tonight ... I still love this team. It was awful to see Rondo almost tearing up on that bench during those final minutes ... but it was clear that he was a liability at that point. I feel bad for Doc because he was forced to make the decision to remove Rondo and insert Jeff Green who was not yet mentally prepared for what had to be done. It is clear now that this team is at the point where they need to close out games when they have the chance. The age and athleticism of this Heat team is just too much for them further down the stretch. It is just plain awful to see them go down 3-1 (especially to this team) ... but this team has been through a lot over these incerdible years ... and I know one thing will hold true until the end ... They're not gonna stop fighting.

Me too. The last four years have made the pain of 1987-2007 considerably better.

Still a game (or two, three?) to play.

But regardless of what happens this has been GREAT - starting with that Summer of 2007.

It was sad with all they had to overcome during the year with trades and injuries.  

Finally old tired worn legs just couldn't get it dun.  LBJ was struting around , really to go 4 OT's if necessary and not even breathing hard.  

I'll take our three bigs anyday , with EQUAL age, they would have won .

Lakers have basically the same issues , no energy , speed and older players, face it Koby has lost a step, I've seen it before. ....I saw it with MJ when he came back to Wizards. KG has lost his youth finally.

I'm proud of the effort .

I'll leave this season satisifed knowing LA couldn't get as far as the C's, at least we didn't get swept.

Maybe MAV or Bulls can defeat the three man circus at Miami.  They are TRUE basketball teams .

The only thing that I have left to ask of these Celtics is to somehow make this go seven, but I understand that might be too much.  I bought a ticket to game 6 just because I felt the need to see in person the last time this team might ever play together.  Even if they lose by 30, I just want to give them a standing ovation for the lasr four years from a nosebleed seat in the balcony.

This team has so much heart. But its pretty clear that with Rondo limited, Miami is simply a better team when they're clicking. At least we're not going out with no pride like LA. But hey, the series isn't over yet. I wouldn't bet on a comeback but its not out of the question

It's not over till it's over ... but if you look back at the fight this team has had in them over these amazing years ... I have absolutely no regrets about what this team has accomplished.

Man, I feel for Rondo, what a champion. A total champion. He tried his best, but that left arm is really hurting him.

Exactly. Both games in MIA have been close.
