God, I hope it's Chicago.  Hard to pick against the Heat right now, though.  They play incredible defense and you just can't completely stop their offense.

Boy, I'll tell you I was shocked and amazed that a thread with a title like this would be one of yours.

Why don't you just buzz off, Tim?  If you don't like my threads and don't want to contribute, stay out.

Lighten up, Francis. Neither series is over yet.

Francis???

Anyway, it's true that the Hawks might win the series against the Bulls -- call this wishful thinking on my part, because I don't think the Hawks have a prayer against the Heat.

The Celtics aren't in a position to win the series against the Heat, though.  Not without the fountain of youth or Rondo miraculously becoming fully healthy and averaging a triple double.

They blew a golden opportunity tonight. A win would have put the Heat on the ropes.

I agree, the Celtics would have put themselves in a decent position if they had won tonight -- though it still would have been very difficult with Rondo as hobbled as he is.

After they gave it all they could tonight and still came up short, though, I just can't see this team finding a way to extend the series past 6 games, let alone win it.

I don't think it's at all unreasonable to think that way, either.  I'm looking ahead, now, because I'm really hoping somebody else will be able to prevent LeBron from getting his first title.  I have faith in Dallas, and I think even OKC or Memphis would give them a run for their money.  Bulls probably have the best chance, though, since they'd have HCA.

Miami will beat Chicago or Atlanta.
Miami will not beat Dallas
Dallas will win the title this year.

Dallas vs Miami...2006 finals rematch. Stern owes Dirk one championship.

It would be great to see Dirk and Kidd finally get that ring. Heat gonna be awful tough to knock out though. Just don't see Terry or Marion being able to slow down Miami's two big dogs.

If the series is Chicago vs Miami, it's hard to say Miami would lose that series. Chicago's defense is spectacular but it seems like time and time again, their only offense has come from Rose. They go on terrible offensive droughts like us. If Miami wins that series, depending on their matchup in the finals, they could potentially be looking at a title... Against Dallas, no, but against OKC or Memphis? Absolutely. It would be interesting to see '06 Dallas Miami rematch.

I wouldn't count out the Bulls yet, despite their head-scratching struggles against the Hawks.  The Bulls were 3-0 against the Heat in the regular season -- though admittedly all of those games were prior to April.

If Boozer can at least play Bosh to a draw (which shouldn't be too hard), I think the Bulls have a very solid shot of taking out the Heat.

Does Chicago even beat Atlanta? Probably, but that's not exactly written in stone yet, either.
