Since Shaq came into the league, he has always been one of my least favorite players which culminated with him going to the Lakers and winning multiple championships.
I hated his style of play and how he was officiated. Hated all the crap he has talked throughout the years, etc., etc. But most importantly he disgraced himself by wearing purple and gold which is unforgivable.
But for the first time in all my life, I'm going to forgive Shaq for being a Laker and am currently glad that he's currently with us. I know he hasn't given us so far in the playoffs what we wanted him to give us due to injuries, but after seeing him last night and how awful he seemed health wise, yet trying to help us win, then I don't know how I could feel any ill will towards him.
So, Shaq I forgive you thanks for being here.
I decided to post this now since I don't want this "forgiveness" to be conditional on us winning a championship, though it would be awesome if he helped us do so.
Anyone else here with me? Have you ever forgiving someone for being a Laker?
