LBJ could slap Stern and he wouldn't be suspended

You guys seriously think Lebron should be suspended for using the word "retarded" ??  I think that's going way too far with it lol.  I'm not an advocate of the word, but c'mon...

Suspended?  Cmon man.  THis is the USA right?  Freedom of speech right?  Sounds like wishful thinking on your part.  Why do you want him suspended.  Then you have a built in excuse for the Heat

If Kobe can get fined 100K for saying what he said on the sideline in front of no one, then Lebron should get fined a ton for that. So immature and stupid, and the play was dirty by the way.

If Stern doesn't do anything about this, then him and Lebron are having an affair or something

1.  He shouldn't be suspended, and won't be.  But

2.  Why do so many people think freedom of speech means a private employer can't punish you for what you say?  With limited exceptions they absolutely can.

You really thinki the context of the word he uttered was meant in a hurtful mean-spirited attack on the mentally handicapped people? Cmon.  Enough of us all being the judge and jury.

See Point #1, I don't think that at all.  Just saying freedom of speech has nothing to do with it.

I would tend to disagree with the first line in the article.

Lebron will probably be suspended for the rest of the series, DWade will also get suspended for the series for the Rondo injury, and Bosh will sit out the rest of the series with a crick in his neck. We're in good shape
