Apropos Wade's comments about "players get up" quoted in the article, Eddie20 posted this in another thread:

Yes, Doc.  You retaliate by outplaying and outhustling them like we did last night.

Agreed. If need be, they can lay a few hard fouls on Wade in a later game.

Agree with Doc. This team should just put their heads down and go to work, avoid all the nonsense talking or retaliating which may hurt the team more. Do the talking after they win the whole series I say!

quote

Quote
"Kevin was furious," Rivers said in the hallway outside the Celtics' locker room. "He just didn't like what happened ... "

"I just kept saying, 'Guys, we've just got to play. Nothing. You know, they wanted to because they didn't like what happened. Even late in the game, I called them together and said, 'Hey, nothing. Do it with your play.' Because with the injuries we have, we couldn't afford somebody getting thrown out. Then it's over for us."

I wouldn't mind one of our bench guys coming in a laying the timber on Wade. Someone like Sasha or Troy.

I hope he doesn't do anything worthy of suspension, obviously, but good luck keeping KG from doing something for payback ... Shorty is his boy, and he takes care of him like he's his little brother. I'd be shocked if some kind of physical message isn't sent by Ticket.

These are the times I miss Perk.  Wade would be in trouble.

Matter fact , Wade might hope he doesn't have to see Perk at OKC after this dirty play.

And what doc said was really what helped them. KG was mad alright...he was mad that he went Sota 04 big ticket KG on they behinds leaving Bosh to create an excuse. Jeff was mad that he amped up the defense and that while team in general since I really cant name them all who played went another notch. Ray was starting to get angry with Wade too and you know when Ray gets mad then that's when you must've crossed the line. I don't want to body slam Wade nor LeBron just play with that anger and intensity and embarrass them again at the Garden and at their
house
Also no one should ever deny nor refute Rondos claim as having any heart and passion. I don't care what no one says he played with an injured elbow and while the team was already up, he gave them motivation. LeBron couldn't even do that. His game 5 ouch my elbow incident was pathetic as all gets out.
