Doc Rivers finally got it.
No Kristic, Big Baby playing less minutes and not finishing games. Jeff Green played excellent, so did Delonte.
Overall great team effort, and Doc did a great job of making the right subs.

Congrats to the Celtics for winning against all odds, 8 vs. 5 is pretty unfair huh?

By the way, the place was rocking tonight!!!! And I can honestly say I think the crowd gave the players the confidence they needed and we are right back in the series!!!

MONDAY HERE WE COME!!! 18

And it only took him two losses to figure it out!

These two things are both related to having Shaq, though.  We're getting closer to the rotation we want vs the rotation we have to use.

No Kristic is about shaq, glen was still our closer if shaq is healthy, but doc made great subs with green for a couple minutes then delonte at the end of the game.

Not really we needed to wait till Shaq was back because Kristic is garbage.

I guess when the guys said they saw some offensive and defensive things that they could change they weren't bluffing.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Celtics offense was still putrid in the first half.
Their defense was EXCELLANT all game.

You're welcome ;)

I would have liked to see Doc go after the refs a little bit more for the calls they made throughout the game and in the second quarter especially.  They were truly atrocious - and not the forgivable kind of atrocious where they screw calls for both sides.

However, as far as substitutions go, he called a very good game for us.  Davis didn't play well and didn't get minutes, Green played his best game of the playoffs and saw court time.  Shaq looked awful physically out there, but he gave KG and JO enough time to catch their breath and get back to controlling the inside.

Gotta stick with the lineups used tonight ... undoubtedly. Looked like a completely different second unit after the half. I am slowly but surely becoming frustrated with all Glen Davis's talk about what this team needs to do when he now surely knows that if he doesn't pick it up ... He might not be getting those huge offers from teams in free agency this coming offseason. Get it together Glen.

News flash! Glen Davis is getting lowballed this summer or worse..... locked out and pidgeonholed into a near minimum wage contract. He simply is not that good anymore.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Some of the lineups from tonight need to disappear and never come back... Particularly hated the lineup with Shaq and Baby in at the same time, with Baby guarding Jones. Lineups were better in the second half though
