Wade deserves a 1 game suspension

Wade is a punk and a dirty player who has proved it once and all. I think/hope the play will be upgraded to a flagrant.

I didn't think so at first, but after watching the reply it was clearly a dirty play and really hope the league reviews the play. Hopefully the media gives it some deserved attention and put pressure on the issue.

There's a difference between tough playoff basketball plays, hard fouls, etc. and just cheap dirty plays, this was a dirty play through and through.

It was dirty and cheap, as was the one he pulled on Ray shortly afterwards. Punk needs a suspension.

This is absolutely ridiculous. This is the second time Wade has pulled this crap and not been penalized. The guy is a straight up punk and i hope shaq wrecks him in game 4.

Here is where we miss Perk folks. Not points , not rebounds, he had a HUGE court presence.  Meaning don't screw with the other four while I'm out there. Perk kept this sort of thing under control .  He was an enforcer and policeman on the court. H

He would have picked up Wade and tossed him into the stands and been suspended .  So we would have lost two players.

Perk didn't tolerate much of this dirty play out of any of the dirty Heat or Laker players. , he just didn't allow the skilled players to take so much abuse.  He stood in a dished it out and made the other team stop and think about dirty play.....becausee they knew it was comming back at them and plus more.

Wade is a dirty player and has been doing this type of thing all series and getting away with it.  The refs are letting him get away with it and that's why he is doing it.  LeBron is also just plowing people over  and brutalizing them and getting away with it.  Ray didn't get a big purple bruise on his chest from a legal hit. 

There is a reason why the Celtics guards are getting hurt and that's because the refs are allowing the Heat to play dirty and get away with it.  3 games so far and the Celtics haven't caught a break from the officials.  But, they finally stopped expecting fair calls in game 3 and played through it.  They will have to do the same in game 4.

Sorry but I remember Howard doing punk moves and dirty plays in the ECF last year too while Perk was here. Didn't prevent him from doing it again and again either.

Well, I'm not sure if he deserves it; however, I think if Rondo did that to Wade, we'd be talking about a flagrant foul right now.  And that's my huge problem here. 

I'd love to see fans at game 4 bring Tim Donaghy signs and shame/pressure these refs into calling a straight game.  They need to know that if they favor the Heat, people will be calling them out.

In that reply, I see Rondo pushing a forearm into the back of Wade's neck/head before the Wade take down, since when is that legal?

If Wade sprained his neck on the play plenty of people (though probably not any from here ) would be saying Rondo should be suspended.

If a guy is pushing a forearm to the back of my neck, I would have no problem taking him down.

I see no problem with what Wade or Rondo did here, just an unfortunate fall for Rondo.

I absolutely do believe Wade intentionally tried to hurt one of the Celtics last night.  I am not saying he tried to dislocate Rondo's elbow...but he was looking to hurt someone and send a Heat toughness message.  I agree with Twinbree...bouncing the Heat out of the playoffs would be the the perfect revenge, and the one I am hoping for. If Perk was still a Celtic, it might not have happened, but if it did, he would have done his best to take care of it.  With the refs so questionable, any retaliation attempt might have gone against the Celts, and at that point, we could not afford to lose another player.  Someone should tell Wade that messages often get muddled in the telling...the Celtics were the team that showed toughness and heart and Miami shriveled even more in public opinion.

I believe in retaliation, but not immediate retaliation.  If the series reaches a point of hopelessness, then, yeah, revenge meant to wreck the Heat's championship chances should be on the table.  If not, then save it for next season.  I can wait a year for KG to make his little incident with Channing Frye seem like a game of patty cake.

Of course, the thing that is probably saving Garnett from doing something that earns a suspension is his opposite number, Chris Bosh, having a pair of undescended testicles.

True that, if it was Delonte pulling Wade down or something, it'd be an automatic flagrant.

There was no need to carry on or tangle up when you lose the ball.
