Wade deserves a 1 game suspension

For the entire series, I've thought Wade has been pulling cheap shots every chance he gets. Game 1 was obvious. This game he obviously pulled Rondo down but also grabbed Pierce's jersey earlier in the game.

He is playing dirtier than any player I can recall in recent memory.

He won't get any borderline calls against him, but touch-fouls on him are automatic. What a farce.

I now officially HATE D-Wade!
I used to cheer for him and the heat during the Shaq years, esp. the 2006 championship team. He was my favorite player out of the 2003 batch, and i still like him even when he teamed up with bron and bosh. But during this series, I have lost all respect for him. He's become more arrogant and now a dirty player! 
There's a difference between playing tough and playing dirty. The Celtics play physical, but they don't do cheap shots. Wade obviously was trying to hurt Rondo on that play. Rondo might not be able to play the next game, but I hope this incident will fuel the team to destroy the Heat for the remaining games!

The thing is it wasn't really "intentional" but Wade has been doing this kind of over the line plays during the entire series so he should definitely have got a flagrant 1 for this one, especially when you consider that JO got a flagrant for less than that in game 1.

no suspension.....but a tech or flagrant should have been given, if the refs want things to be consistent.

i used to respect Wade as a player. i cheered him on in 2006 for helping Zo [one of my all time favorites] get his ring.

Wade is a dirty __________.  there are rules on this forum so i'll refrain from typing my exact thoughts, but u can insert the worst word u can possibly think of in the blank.

there was NO need for that play-- Wade and Rondo were jockeying for position and Wade flopped, literally dragging Rondo with him intentionally to draw attention to his flop. in the process Rondos elbow bent back to a 100 degree angle, dislocating his elbow. it was UNNECESSARY.

karma is a mmhmmmm and Wade is gonna get his.

Maybe I haven't been paying attention but i've never seen a player deliberately try and take another player to the ground after a play is over. I saw wade do it twice this game. He tried to pull Pierce down, and pulled Rondo down to horrendous effect. There is only one reason to pull that ____, especially after a play is over. He is trying to hurt our players. If the league doesn't do anything about it, someone on the team will have to.

He did it to Ray, too ... successfully, under the basket at the 5:55 mark in the third quarter, and KG had to pull Ray away to keep him from retaliating. I lost all my respect for D-Wade last night, at least when it comes to class and personality.

You can't give someone a flagrant on a play based on whether or not a guy was hurt because of it. You gotta do it on the merits of the play, not on whether or not a guy's elbow freakishly dislocates because he lands awkwardly.

Yeah, same here.  I think it's potentially a Flagrant 1 infraction, but not a Flagrant 2 (which warrants suspension).

If this is Hockey he gets suspended though.  In that sport they punish based on results.  Not saying Wade should get a suspension, just pointing it out

Here is where we miss Perk folks. Not points , not rebounds, he had a HUGE court presence.  Meaning don't screw with the other four while I'm out there. Perk kept this sort of thing under control .  He was an enforcer and policeman on the court. H

He would have picked up Wade and tossed him into the stands and been suspended .  So we would have lost two players.

Perk didn't tolerate much of this dirty play out of any of the dirty Heat or Laker players. , he just didn't allow the skilled players to take so much abuse.  He stood in a dished it out and made the other team stop and think about dirty play.....becausee they knew it was comming back at them and plus more.

Yep I'm totally over my love for D-Wade. My fandom has been slipping since last summer and it's all gone now. I doubt he'll be suspended but a flagrant 1 would be nice. I'm not interested in retaliating though. The best revenge will be to send him and his teammates crying off the court into their offseason.

Honestly though, Wade has had about 5 or more of these sort of plays in the three games.

This time Rondo got hurt, so we're upset about it. But he's been undercutting, shoving, etc all series long.

I've always felt that way.  Play hard, play tough, don't take any crap, but always play clean.  

B-Ball is (or should be) a gentleman's sport.  If you want retaliation there's that other sport were they skate around and punch each other in the face to watch.
