Rondo's performance tonight the gutsiest performance I've ever seen in sports!

from Doc's comments, it doesn't sound good for Rondo to play in game 4

Really? Darn it ... That would be a massive loss.

I'm pretty sure he'll play, I think Doc was just saying that long-term, Rondo will probably be limited for the rest of the playoffs for sure. Based on Rondo's postgame comments, his arm will probably have to fall off for him not to play.

Yea, he said he really doesn't know but it doesn't look good going forward, it's going to be interesting. Donny just said it depends on how much it swells up and the range of motion he has by monday night.

I'd guess he's going to require painkillers Monday, and for the rest of the playoffs.

Its coming from Doc Rivers who is not a real Doctor. So I would take it with a grain of salt. Doc Rivers has a habit to overdramatize things.

I think its safe to say that Rondo's "elbow game" was better than Lebron's

The problem will be with swelling. Many years ago I played a doubleheader with a badly sprained shoulder and although it was painful and limited my ability to stretch, all I had to do was deal with the pain. HOWEVER, the next day I couldn't get out of bed without help because everything had swollen up and I couldn't function well for weeks. I expect Rondo's elbow will also swell up like a balloon by tommorrow. The training staff deserves a bonus if they can keep the swelling down. You can play with a lot of pain, if the joints are mobile.
