Thanks to statscube, we can kind of see what's going on. Lebron is scoring more while Jeff is on the court, but he is taking a massive amount of shots. He is shooting the ball more, getting to the line less, and shooting a lower fg%.

42% while Jeff is on court.(33 mins)
60% while Jeff is off the court.(51 mins)

And Jeff hasn't really done time at the 4 at all this series.

Not a massive amount of sample, but it's not tiny either. Jeff has forced Lebron into a decent number of fadeaways and that's what you want Lebron to do.

Sasha Pavlovic plays the best defense. But he won't get any minutes. So Jeff Green needs to man up and get the job done.

Not trying to call you out but since when does Sasha Pavlovic play good defense?   I remember when we first signed him, Ainge, and Doc, and many others were saying we got him as a defensive stopper.  I never understood.  When he was in Cleveland I thought always remembered him having the reputation of a poor defender.  So I was confused why people were saying he was gonna be a defensive stopper.  And since we've signed him he's done little prove his worth in that role.

I don't think its even a question? Jeff Green definately.  He makes lebron work to get points as well as pierce has been (albeit w/ bad foot) and he can maybe draw fouls on lebron down on the box.
west & wafer too small, sasha isn't going to hit the court in this series and maybe not at all
lebron is a fast 6'9" athlete, we really only have 2 guys to throw at him , pierce & green unless we can somehow put KG in a time warp and make him 28 again

We don't have a great option, but as others have said, Green is our best bet.

(I wish Marquis never got hurt.)

I'd go with Green, but I'd also try Pavlovic and see how it goes. Sasha has probably played a lot against LEBron over the years in practice.

Maybe Ray but I'd rather save him a bit for O.

Whoever it is needs to make him go right, not left.

I agree, I'd like to see Doc try a little Sasha.

Tony Allen, Marquis Daniels, Paplovic.. Jeff 'full of potential' Green.

In other words Paul should play 45minutes and go at lebron on both ends all day long.
