I honestly think Rondo might be playing up his injury so he can take advantage of this Heat's defense. Looks like he's raising his arm fine.

Did you SEE how badly his arm bent?  Playing up the injury?  [dang], I'm amazed he's not in the locker room, sedated.

Nope, he's on the floor sedated.

Love the heart from this team right now. Even Jeff Green is into it. THIS is the team I've been waiting to see! Let's get this one!

I think seeing Rondo go down the way he did, and then still come back, is making Green and everyone play like we saw in 2008. I mean, this is inspired, energetic, talkative D.

Yea, but he's raising up that same arm without a problem it looks like. I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised if he's playing it up more than it really hurts, which would be a smart move on his part.

Possible blessing in disguise of Rondo's injury:  Might cut down on the circus passes.

16 point lead with nine and a half minutes to go ... sitting pretty

The Heat are capable of incredible runs (e.g. 80-80 halfway through the 4th in Game 2 followed by a 17-4 run that broke the game wide open).
Absolutely. Game is not over.

Fantastic position to be in though.

Finish strong, play D, box out and no layups. Celtics got this.

Unfortunately the last two things on that list have been very difficult for the Celtics in this series.

yea, he's very, very lucky it popped out of the socket instead of breaking, it was very bad and he surely tore something in there
For everyone saying Rondo's overplaying the injury: popping out a joint is like having it numbed, or like having just lifted weights for hours and hours on end until you couldn't lift anything anymore. All the nerves get a bang, basically making it feel as though it's asleep.

That's what I've felt when it happened to me anyway. Shoulder several times, knee and elbow. Same thing.

Obvious that Green and Rondo are still not on the same page. Haven't seen Green catch a tough pass inside from Rondo in a while.

Btw, Jeff Green has taken it to another energy level tonight. He is playing inspired D on anyone he's covering. He is making LeBron and Bosh work really hard to get anything off him. I think/hope the switch finally flipped for him...all-out effort is how we do it here. And the fact is, he's athletic enough to create havoc on D.

Agreed, he's been awesome tonight and this is the Jeff Green I thought we were getting when he traded for him. This is who Green is, sign him danny.

Rondo is ridiculous. That was a foul on Rondo btw, while he was trying to steal. MAN I love the heart of this team.

Yeah, I'm impressed with Jeff tonight.  We need that swarming, athletic presence on D to match what Miami brings to the table.
