John Havlicek dropped by C's practice today. He just so happened to be on the 1969 team, the only Boston squad to rally from 0-2 hole.

hopefully to give the C's some inspiration for saturdays game

I want to see this entire City uplift the Celtics on Saturday. I want ALL the ghosts there. Larry, Chief, Hondo, Cousy, Russ, Tommy, McHale...all of them. The Boston sports community can be very powerful. This team feeds off of the history and energy of Boston sports.

I cant wait to see this turnaround.

This is what I love about the Celtics.

When other teams are at home, and the camera pans over the crowd, you get movie stars (usually B-list), maybe another contemporary athlete who plays in the same city, and the other occasional nom du jour/minor celebrity who happens to be in the headlines (for whatever reason).

When the camera pans over the crowd at a Celtics game in Boston, you get legends.

And goosebumps, if you know anything about the game.

Remind me to come back to this post every hour for the rest of my life so you can get the proper amount of TP's.

Further proof that the Celtics are the best franchise in the NBA.
