I'm backing the heat once they sweep us.   I like when the best players own the title... it gives it more meaning.  LeBron is the best player in the NBA.  Wade is easily top 5.  The Heat holding the title gives everyone else something to aim for.  I think that's what makes the NBA great... generally there are no 1 time championship teams.  The Pistons were an aberration.  The lack of parity in the NBA is a good thing.  Once they make short work of our boys, I'm 100% behind King James to claim what is rightfully his.

I don't like the Bulls at all.  Rose is overrated.  I think there is a good chance we'll look back on his MVP trophy and go, "Wow... i can't believe Derrick Rose won the MVP once".  Could be wrong, though.

somehow and for some odd reason, the way the Celtics and Lakers are losing made me have the most random thought

If the Celtics and Lakers are to lose in their series its all a evil plan by David Stern for the Heat to win the title easier. The other team to beat the Heat are the Bulls so we'll see how their series work out =]

Heat - Thunder with Perk winning his second NBA championship. However, I think Heat are going all the way.

good call, Wilt Chamber-Perkins winning his second ring will show everybody what a mistake they made

LOL! In real life, he seems more like Greg Kite-Perkins....
We all think we know more than we really do....

Out of the West, I'd like to see anyone other than the Lakers or Thunder to end up Heat-fodder.

Success for the Lakers is bad for the Celtics
Success for the Thunder makes Ainge look like a fool

I'm ok with that.  I think Ainge was a fool to make those trades and get so little back in terms of productive players but mostly because he placed so much of this season's expectations on a significantly-injured 39-year-old player.  I don't care what the doctor's reports were, it was like relying the lottery for your retirement.

Here is how I would rank the Finals that I would want to see:

1 Celtics vs anybody
2 Whichever other matchup David Stern least wants to see
3 Any other matchup not involving the Heat or Lakers
4 Any other matchup involving only one of the Heat or Lakers
5 Start the lockout now
6 Heat vs Lakers

Very likely and very interesting.

Yup.  Don't count out the Celtics just yet.

You can count out the Lakers though. ;D

Or maybe the Lakers just aren't that great.

Unfortunately, I think that if they can finish us off, they probably have the best shot to get the title.

I'm by no means counting out the Cs just yet, though.  We've been outplayed by that team and their two main villains so far, but this is a team that can find a rhythm and go on a nice run like they did last year.

Let's go, Cs!! I would love to see you prove the doubters wrong.  Let's have one more heroic run!!
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson
