I dont post that much but I hate seeing my brethern in green so down, sad and negative. Believe me I am just as upset as you are. I didnt even want to sleep last night with the game and the future running through my mind. It is far from over. Think about in 08 when ATL or CLE took us to 7 games. We won both games at home like we were suppose to but just could not win on the road for whatever reason. Had ATL or CLE had homecourt advantage then we would have started out both of those series 0-2. I know this is different and being down 0-2 can do things to you mentaly but if any team is ready for this challenge or if any team can overcome this challenge its this group of Celtics.
It may seem like we got killed but in all honesty we didnt. Maybe we get a few more calls go our way at home, maybe the shots start falling or just maybe being at home will give the entire bench confidence moving forward. Maybe Shaq will play and make a difference. I honestly think if we do 3 things we will win. Rebound better, limit the heats rebounds and lower our turnovers.
I have full faith in my Celtics. They will win the next 2 at home and game 5 at Miami. Then they just might close it out in 6 or in game 7.
This team has always had it easy and at times played bored or may even felt like nothing was challenging. This is it and this is the challenge we have all been waiting for. I can see it on ESPN now "the celtics look to close out the heat tonight with a win in game 6 after trailing 0-2".
Keep your heads up.
