I sure hope so. Still have some hope that they can pull it out...going to be tough, but if anyone can come back from a 2-0 deficit it's these guys.

It's not being down 2-0 that scares me,

it's how easily the Heat crushed the Celtics in both games.

Their motivation and morale looks = 0.
Celtics' turn on switch for the playoffs: the last bastion of hope for battered Celtic fans.

With three days rest and the next two games at home we have to win both 3 and 4 and come back to Miami and try this again.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

The Celtics were leading in the fourth. The final score was deceiving in both games. One game wasn't as close as it appeared. The other was closer than it ended.

If we win Game 3, we are down 2-1.

Last year, we were down 2-1 to Cleveland after a 29-point thrashing at home, a franchise worst. Cleveland wasn't a scrub team, they were the 1 seed for two consecutive season's and almost unbeatable at home.

It was obvious before the season ended we would have to win in Miami. We still have two chances to do that. Yes they won the last three, but they were all in Miami.

I, in all likelihood, will not be attending Game 3 or 4. I will leave it to those in attendance (some of which are on this board I am sure) to motivate the C's and wake up this sleeping giant.

Give me a 2-2 series with momentum going back to Miami, and let's see who is worried then.

Agreed.

right now, half the game is Mental...a 2-0 hole is discouraging, but if any group of players can find the mental meddle to dig in deep and make a series out of this, its the celtics

heck, the bruins came back from a 2-0 hole to win it against montreal? the grizzlies knocked off #1 spurs crazier things have happened. and if any team can do it, id say its the celtics(although i think the lakers could as well)

if we can go and take games 3 and 4, that puts us right back in this at 2-2. hopefully we can figure out how to get our offense going, because right now its atrocious.

and having shaq back manning the middle starting game 3 will be BIG and could change the dynamics of the series if he can give us meaningful production in his minutes.

bring on game 3! lets hope these guys can dig down deep and pull the next 2 out in boston
