Just embarrassing.  We should have seen this coming a few weeks back when Miami ripped the C's with the number 2 seed on the line. We made excuses back then but the Heat are averaging 100 ppg in the last 3 meetings.......where's the "D"?

The series isn't over, but it sure feels like it. Miami looks like their out to prove something and Boston's starters looked overmatched.

I just hope it doesn't get ugly.  :-\

PP was hurt and Ray only got up 7 shots, 3 of which were blocked under the hoop.  That's on Rondo

Ugh. I feel sick. Only positives are that our bench looked competent and that we have lots of rest until game 3.....

I'm not worried about Ray. He isn't missing as much as he isn't getting looks. He won't go too many games without getting good looks.

Pierce came out calm, cool, and collected and started putting up points, then the injury set him back.

We need three days off to get healthy and look at film.

Allen passed up on too many shots. That's not Rondo's fault.  A shooter needs to shoot. Rondo went for 20-6-12 tonight.  That should be good enough to get a W.

Injuries are just excuses. Throughout these playoffs we have seen "injured" players come out and carry their teams when needed. Pierce had to be the "man" tonight and he wasn't.

On the other hand, Miami is getting 100 points per game.

There's only so many shots to go around...they were also trying to get KG actively involved (which is why he got 20 attempts)

Thats not an excuse for getting your best shooter 3 or so jump shots.

Well, then your taking away good shots from KG...plus Wade/Heat were guarding Ray incredibly well tonight. It's not like Rondo was missing Ray in his spots.

We had lots of rest before game 1. This team needs more than rest.

Unbelievable Glen Davis and Jermaine both get as many attempts as Ray. We have the greatest 3pt shooter of all-time on our team and we have Baby and Jermaine putting up as many attempts as Ray.

Terrible coaching

That was the WORST 20-6-12 performance Ive ever seen.  Rondo went on a straight stat-padding spree in the fnal five minutes of the game when we got down 14 and the Heat stopped playing defense.

As far as Pierce, well idk...I have no idea what his injury is.  We'll have to see what the MRI says tomorrow

Eh, not when he is clearly the Celtics' biggest advantage.

He really needs to dominate on all facets. People want to proclaim him the best/most important player, he needs to be it.

That means not turning the ball over, finding the open man before it's too late, not gambling on defense, and keep attacking the rim.

He wasn't bad tonight, but he was hardly the "great" Rondo we know and love. He needs to crash the boards more against them. He is the fastest and most energetic player on our team, he has to prevent Miami's second-chances and create some for us.

It was 80-80 at one point in the 4th quarter. How was Rondo responsible for the 12-0 run Miami went on?  Looked like a team effort in ineptness that brought the C's down.

Rondo had 20 points and 12 assists.  The rest of Boston's starters went 17-45 from the field, and yet people want to blame Rondo?  The guy put his body on the line with a no-call "charge" against LeBron to end the 3rd quarter. He got burned a couple of times on defense, but name another Celtic who didn't?

Rondo was the best player on the floor tonight for the Celtics.
