So JO misses 2 short open Js, PP kicks the ball twice, Rondo speeding down the court stopped by Bibby twice, PP missing a short runner short, Wade making two long Js, KG and RR hard fouling LBJ on the break. I turned off the TV bec. i was tired of that scene played over and over again throughout the season. I turned the TV back on after a couple of hours and it was 96-86 with 1:46 left in the 4th. Sigh, a fan's worst nightmare. It was 5:40 a.m. where i come from and i'm glad i slept through it. I shrugged it off as if it was nothing. But deep inside it was not nothing. Revenge is all i have right now and game 2 seems so far off, so remote. So difficult. Please God give us a 20 pt lead in the 3rd. Thank you.

  • Rondo = Good
Well, duh . . . Rondo got 2 fouls in the first five minutes.  Could guessed right there and then that the game was going to get ugly.  The third foul early in the second quarter just confirmed it.

Rondo will need to run himself ragged playing 40+ minutes a game in this series, and he'll need to dominate for us to win.  Simple as that.

+1 for post.....felt the same way.....DVR'd game after 1st quarter..just in case of some miracle turnaroud....painful...

PP's unforced TO's, Bibby diving for loose balls going to the floor and owning Rondo, the non-charge call on Wade vs Baby (and the announcers characterizing it as a "flop") and then on the same non-charge on Wade him getting an and 1......??!??!!...please!.....not to mention the botched sequence by the Cs at the end of the first where Miami got two easy hoops compliments of a careless Celtic turnover..

went to golfer's wharehouse and then to the range and hit some balls just to get some frustration out....kept checking in on 850, hoping for a reason to go into the clubhouse to watch...couldn't find one....

I will root for the Fakers before I root for this team (I know I'm going to Celtics' Hell along with Pitino, Sidney Wicks, Curtis Rowe, Marc Blount et al) for saying that...hopefully we turn things around and/or the Fakers get stopped before they even get to the Finals...

You mean you really thought we were gonna win this one? You haven't been in on the Celtics' early game tendencies and their effect on the final outcome have you? I'll give you a tip so next time you'll be wiser- When Boston starts with 2 open 10 ft misses, and twice balls off the foot, and Rondo w/ 2 early fouls, and Wade knocking 2 js in succession, and Bibby neutralizing RR twice on the break- then you'll know its gonna be a long night. Or if we lead by 15 in the first qrtr, you can bet the farm that lead will be 3 by the end of the half. That's how it has been.
On the other hand, a win is marked when PP knocks down 2 early 3s, Ray scores a 3 off the curl and RR knocks in 2 20 foot Js and KG grabs a rebound off Bosh then we are hard to beat.
