How can the guy hurt his ankle/foot the way he did 2 days ago and come back and play how he is playing tonight? And, why does it seem that none of our guys can come back like that? I know Shaq Is older and heavier, but I am amazed at how long he has been out. And, I am even more amazed when I see what Kobe can do.

Exactly
Pierce had all types of injuries last year in the playoffs but he never said a word

Not sure about that. He bent that ankle pretty far on Sunday.

Tomorrow on ESPN:
"can you believe how great Kobe looked last night? He should play on a bad ankle more often"

"yeah, Kobe is still Kobe, he's good all the time"

"The Lakers will win it all because Kobe is playing like the all time great we know he is"

"I love Kobe Bryant, marry me" - Reggie Miller

maybe the last one is a litte over exaggerated... just maybe.

There is nothing wrong with Kobe. He has a tweaked ankle that's all. They tape it up the ankle and he is ready to go. Media generally like to hypes up these things; Lebron's elbow nonsense from last season. It adds drama and theatrics to the game. Kobe played along by not getting a MRI.

'Kobe so brave' Headlines for tomorrow, lol

I give the guy a lot of credit playing the way he is tonight. I despise him and the Lakers, but he plays through a lot of injuries.

Yet when Celtics' players get tweak injuries they seem to miss a lot of time or at least a couple of games. I find it strange that he can come back so quickly.

Differentiate between regular season game and the playoffs.  A tweaked ankle won't keep a Celtic out of the playoffs.

Lakers will win this in 6. Who do they play next, winner of Dallas-Portland?

Didn't Krstic supposedly hurt himself in practice during the Knicks series but still continued to play? And it's hard to compare a tweak on Kobe to JO having swelling in his knee or Shaq having an Achillies injury.

Simple - if he's able to play he's just not that badly injured.
