" It doesn't matter who guards Rondo. If LeBron brings his A game, Rondo won't be a factor"

um do they think this is just a 4 vs 4 pick up game ****?
Heat are going to NEED to stop rondo if they want a chance to beat us in a series

They should worry about Philly instead it wouldn't surprise me if they went on to win tomorrow. Lou Williams is finally healthy and not one of them Wade included could stop him last game.
"7ft PG. Rondo leaves and GUESS WHAT? We got a BIGGER point guard!"-Tommy on Olynyk

I am confused here, what is wrong with that statement?  They are just saying that Lebron can be a much bigger difference-maker than Rondo when he is on his game...and I think that is 100% correct.

Luckily for the C's, Lebron's A game has not shown up a ton in the last couple playoffs.

LeBron needs bring his A game in the final minutes of play. His mental weakness from the regular season has carried into the playoffs. But, I guess, some would argue, that happened in last years playoffs as well.

Rondo was the best player on the court in the Cavs series last season. That tells you a lot about how this series could pan out. And don't tell me the that LeBron quit bla bla. He was just perplexed by the C's tremendous team play.

I was saying that Heat need to put Lebron on Rondo because we all know Bibby/Chalmers can't guard Rondo for Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.. Then the heat fan said that it doesn't matter how Rondo does in the series because when Lebron is on his "A game" Rondo won't be a factor. When Rondo is a factor because he is the motor of this team

If you put LeBron on Rondo, Bibby guards either Ray or Pierce. Not pretty for Miami.

Unless they use LeBron as a point-forward, which wouldn't surprise me, in which case it's Miller or Jones on Ray or Pierce. Still not ideal for them, but perfectly reasonable. Either that or some sort of zone with LeBron and Wade at the top, using length and athleticism.

The Heat have far more to worry about than just Rondo, like Ray Allen, who, if he gets hot, the series is probably over before it started.

There's also two other trouble spots in the form of Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett that can't be ignored.

I'm more worried about Wade than I am about LeBron.

Another thing to add to your list is that LeBum is on the Heat team.  If LeBum has proven anything over the years it is that he's a ball hog, kills team spirit and demands the ball when the game is on the line, even when he's double and triple teamed.  The man has no shame.

And did I mention the most important part?

He fails at crunch time most of the time.  He's a choker, has always been a choker and will be a choker forever more.

And the shame of it is for Miami is that they are wasting Wade's talents because LeBum is a Bum.

Lebum can't really bring his A game when sharing the spotlight with Wade. He is still mentally weak down the stretch. If Philly can expose this, we most definitely can, but I don't see it getting down to that point. Cover one of the big three well(preferably Bum or Wade) and they struggle. This has been the case this season.

Basically, the difference between the Celtics and the Heat is their team mentality, offensively and defensively. We spread the ball on offense, as evidenced by four different leading scorers in four games vs. the Knicks in round1. The heat, obviously, play  hero-ball offense. Them big three take a bunch of shots while the rest are just wallflowers. On defense, we don't care about who the players on the opposing team are, we just play team defense while Lebron and Wade will try to steal and block shots on almost every occasion, because they're young, athletic, gifted, and it will look good on the stats!
