If Shaq comes back I expect him to have the explosion of a drunk elephant.  I'd start JO

The starters are now in a groove and finally got their sawgger back. J.O. Could only get better from this point on as het continues to get more comfortable. J.O. to me needs to play with the starters in order to learn the system properly and effectively.

Shaq is perfect for the bench because they lack height and bulk. Shaq also does not need plays called and he also will have a little bit more room to work the paint witout Rondo being on the floor (for teams to sag off and double team Shaq easily). With shaq playing off the bench they will be a far better team core to compliment the starters. CaNt WaIt! ;D

I think it's a no-brainer to start Shaq.

Some reason's that I think it is a good idea

-He has pretty much only played with the starters this season and he and Rondo greatly benefit from each other.

-I think if he is going to play it makes sense to have him in the role that he is the most familiar with as he won't have much time to adjust. Why would we throw him out with the second unit when he literally hasn't even played with Green or West before.

-It adds better defense to our 2nd unit with JO,and it should allow us to keep either JO or KG on the floor or both for 48 minutes.I also think JO could be a good leader for the second unit(especially on defense.

-I like the idea of getting our offense going early and I think Shaq helps with that even if he just draws a few fouls.

-I think it is likely that Shaq will get in to foul trouble earlier and I like the idea of being able to put JO in once that happens. I don't like the idea of if JO gets into early foul trouble having Shaq come in and have to worry about fouls.

I would like to see either JO or Baby finishing games depending on matchups/who's playing better at the moment.

All in all I don't think it matters which way you go. What's going to be more important is the substitution pattern of our bigs by Doc.

I think Jermaine should start. The starters seem like they're finding a nice rhythm with JO in the lineup. Shaq playing against back-up centers = instant double teams, which would open things up for Green and Delonte big time. I agree that Shaq should be on the floor with KG though and not Baby

Tough call here but I am leaning toward Shaq starting and have Jermaine and BBD be together for tough defense off the bench.
The beatings will continue until morale improves
