Hollinger was right..... It Hurts  :'(

Hollinger had to be right at one point or another.

If you asked the Heat, I think the last way they would describe this series is "breezed past easily" ... a better executed play at the end of Game 4, and this could just as "easily" have gone the other way.

Hollinger was right..... It Hurts  :'(

I think Rondo getting hurt invalidates the predictions, unless the Celts had won or gotten destroyed.

I think this what he expected, a relatively close series in terms of games, but one where the Celts could only win a game. The Heat were never in a tough spot all series: they held serve in games 1 & 2 fairly easily. They lost game 3 and then one a closer than it looked overtime to steal a road win. At that point the heat were playing with house money in game 5, and while it was a close game at the end the Heat won the series easily.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...

Sorry Bahku, but whenever you win 4-1 in a best of seven series you breezed past your opponent.

The Heat had us on the defensive all series with the exception of game 3.

Gotta agree, i thought Hollinger was out of his mind, but he was right on this one, unfortunately for us :(

Here's this series in a nutshell.

Game 5, Heat took 38 free throws, Celtics took 20.

Game 1, Heat took 14 more free throws than the Celtics.

Game 2, Heat took 14 more free throws than the Celtics.

How was the refereeing in Boston?

Game 3, Heat took 2 more free throws than Boston.
Game 4, (best reffed game of series) Celtics took 1 more free throw than the Heat.

Why such a huge disparity in games officiated in Miami? I'll let others decide that.

I have to give Hollinger credit. He had the formula to know Shaq wouldn't be able to give us anything, LeBron would start hitting contested three's at an unbelievable clip, Wade would hit every midrange shot, and Rondo would break his arm.

Good job, Nostradamus.

The Heat had to work extremely hard to win this series, and the free-throw discrepency was absurd. I'll agree to disagree, my friend, cuz there was nothig "easy" about this series ... for either team. ;) (TP)

We played well enough to win games 2,3,4, and 5. We won only game 3. You don't need to be a math major like Hollinger to understand the consequences of what I just said.

He was right about the 5 games. He was wrong about "breezing past us easily".

maybe Boston and Miami both just played better at home.  Nah that couldn't be it, it has to be some great conspiracy.
