Problems Going into Yesterday

1. Doc Rivers game plan and anticipated adjustments and motivational manipulations - Accomplished well
2. Bench play - Accomplished Well
3. Complacency and lack of killer instinct - Not that well accomplished - Letting a 20+ lead disappear to 4+ in six minutes is never a good thing - But the Starters had the wherewithall to close the deal in the last 10 minutes.
4. Assuming the Bricks will quit - See #3

We did take care of business yesterday, so it is time to rest up physically and prepare to do battle in Miami and get one of two games down there and to defend the TD Banknorth Garden like it is Fort Knox. I really doubt that Miami will drop game 5 on their HC to Philly but they have to play the game. Perhaps we can learn something and get a read on how to play the Heat.

It is nice that we were the only team to sweep in the 1st round as energy conserved is critical to our success. I felt that losing games 4 and 5 to Orlando last year damaged us significantly and it cost us dearly against the Lakers. Lack of energy meant getting killed on the glass. Maybe Perkins knee would have held up through the series and we be defending our title.

Miami will test us - so it is important that we shut-off their role players and make Lebron be Superman to beat us. Leaving Mario Chalmers, Bibby, and Eddie House alone on the 3 point line is not an acceptable practice. Better to funnel it down to Bosh, Dampier, or Z. Delonte will get under DWade and Lebron's skin. Don't expect too much out of Jeff Green. Baby and perhaps Shaqdaddy could kick butt inside.

I'll take my chances and do my ancillary work like eating Moons over My Hammy Sandwiches at Denny's and running on 33rd Ave W. The Leprecahn is with me and doing good work being 4-0 this campaign. I think the good work will continue and the Red Sox and Bruins are winning also.
The beatings will continue until morale improves
