He has 6 playoff triple doubles in 5 years. LeBron has 6 in 8 years. Right now they are both tied for 6th all-time with playoff triple doubles.

If Rondo keeps up his pace he will easily surpass Jason kidd for the number 2 overall spot behind magic johnson by the end of his career (let's face it, kidd aint adding any more to his total at this point)

Johnson has 30 career playoff triple doubles. I think Rondo can catch him...

It's highly unlikely, but possible. Rondo would need to kick it up a notch though, magic got 30 in 13 years, so if Rondo plays for 8 more he'd have to average 3/year.

How many do you think he will end up with? Floor/Ceiling?
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

  • Rondo = Good
I think the biggest hindrance for Rondo will be that his team probably won't often be in the playoffs, let alone advancing deep into the playoffs, once the Big 3 have retired.

Definitely a possibility, although i'm holding onto the hope that even after the big 3 the celtics will want to keep up thier winning ways and make enough moves to keep us contending.

As soon as he doesn't have the Big Three to play with, he won't get another one.

Too early to make a claim like that. I doubt the plan is to not try and replace any of those players. Plus a Rondo/Pierce/KG led team would have another 2-3 years of playoff ball in them.

Yes, because as we all know playing a bigger role on a team usually leads to reduced stats...

I don't understand all the Rondo hate.. He's the best playoff performer we have.

It depends on post Big 3. If Rondo can still make the playoffs after everyone is retired, then yes, I say he can catch Magic.

I feel that Rondo plays the regular season like a 30year old vet and wakes up when the postseason starts... You know like.... Sheed.

Become Legendary.
