If we were able to get by Miami in the next round, would you want the bulls in the eastern finals or would you want some crazy upset from the winner of the atlanta and orlando series?
NOT playing Chicago would probably be good for us in a couple of ways but I really want the c's to personally knock the bulls out and make rose and noah wish they hadn't said anything. They just don't scare me like Miami does.I think the Bulls just brought it every game where us and Lakers coasted. Bulls should be commended for that effort but I just don't think they'r on par with us,L.A.,S.A.Miami,and even Dallas and OKC are better teams in my opinion.

Everyone wants the C's in an Eastern Conference Finals that ends with Noah crying like a Big Baby Davis.

Oh, and it will also make it all the sweeter when Rose is the regular season MVP, but Rondo is the NBA Finals MVP.

I really like KG matched up with Boozer on both sides of the ball,Rondo can play better d on Rose than he has and make him a little less dominant, and I really think Deng is a guy that will wilt under pressure. Noah I find annoying but he impresses me.

I want the Bulls a little bit.  I think they have shown this series that they played at their highest level all regular season and don't have another gear to kick into.

2020 CelticsStrong All-2000s Draft -- Utah Jazz

Finals Starters:  Jason Kidd - Reggie Miller - PJ Tucker - Al Horford - Shaq
Bench:  Rajon Rondo - Trae Young - Marcus Smart - Jaylen Brown -  Peja Stojakovic - Jamal Mashburn - Carlos Boozer - Tristan Thompson - Mehmet Okur

if we have shaq back, we would love to play orlando. dwight will get so frustrated dealing with shaq, jo, bbd. not to mention, 12 more fouls from krstic and murphy if necessary. he cringes at the thought of playing us. maybe in a few years, he'll play FOR us.

teams that face lesser competition often play down to their level - see Celtics vs Hawks 2008.  These Bulls are the real deal and present a lot of matchup problems for the Celtics.  Noah > anything we have at center.  Boozer is close to KG, but I still give KG the edge.  Deng < Pierce but a very good defender and good for 10-15 any night, Allen-Bogans is the biggest mismatch, but Korver has been great off the bench.  And I hate to say it but Rose is a better player than Rondo at this point.  So yes, Bulls = scary matchup in my opinion.

Sure, I want the Bulls.

But we NEED to beat the Heat first. They are playing better than the Bulls.

Plus, Dont be surprised if the winner of the Magic series makes it a tough series for the Bulls.

I want the Lakers. Plain and simple, anyone in the East is just another team that stands in the way.

The Bulls aren't going anywhere. The Hawks will beat them

  • Another undersized Celtic...
I don't think a championship team should fear anybody. If we don't go through Chicago and do make it to the finals, we're going to hear all the, "yeah the Celtics are the EFC Champs, but they never had to play Chicago", blah, blah, blah. We don't want to hear any excuses when we lose, so why would we when we win? Give us the best teams and lets see who comes out on top. It's happened to us every year in the playoffs and we've always fared well, so why tip toe around the competition? Go through them.

as long as we win banner 18 this year, I don't care who we went through or didn't go through along the way, 10 years from now, no one will even remember if we played the bulls or the hawks in the ECF, they will remember who we beat in the finals and that's it

Even though up 3-0, they could just as well be down 3-0 to the Pacers. They don't intimate me. I think Doc and the guys will figure out a way to neutralize Rose, and that is how we will beat them.
