If this particular person has pondered how to properly trash talk back to KG, then KG already won.

Pretty sure Player X is either Charlie Villanueva or Joakim Noah.

From what I've read of his, I think he's a wing of some kind.  He seems to know a lot more about the up-close tendencies of other wing players (like Pierce and Artest in this one).  Clearly a vet who's been around a bit.  And he seems relatively well-written, though who knows how much of that is editing.  Plus he's likely out of the playoffs if he's still got time to write these articles.

Shot in the dark: Grant Hill.

There was some pretty good evidence that last season's "Player X" was Ray Allen.

But, in all fairness, if we see something 'well written', I kind of assume Ray Allen, Shane Battier, or Grant Hill wrote it. When I read 'The Road Not Taken', I assumed it was by Ray Allen.

Ooh, Battier is probably a better guess, he's in the playoffs but coming off the bench.  And he seems to have more of a mean streak than Hill.  He'd also be the sort of guy called on to "stop" Pierce, hence the "stop this" quote.

Either way I think automatically assuming he's someone who had a specific run-in with KG is a mistake; this guy has had something to say about just about everyone.  Here's his take on LeBron + Bosh:

Sounds alot like what a female would say with so much emotion and hate .  Guys are not so sneaky and not so  "I'll get you back" attitude., guys will throw an elbow or what ever next game. this gotta mouth off fit of rage.... this is all female and I'll tell you to your face is pure white trash woman ...PO'd itch /trouble making girlfriend or possibly a mother.

This  stab at KG has woman creditials written all over it. SOmeone who has access though a players computer ( girlfriend or wife), relative and write this unknow by the player/coach whoever.

The whole ESPN thing is crock of dog turds.

This is silly.  Of course KG is hated.  But so was Larry, Michael, and the Knicks because they all did the exact same thing as KG.

But I have to admit, the Celtics are the most talkative guys in the league. And that makes sense, because it's the mark of a championship team. Mouths help you win big games. Ray Allen got mean in Boston, and Paul Pierce will look at you, say, "Stop this," then drop a J on your head.
