While Green certainly didn't look great, I thought he looked better as he looked for his shot a bit more.  Don't underrate what a jump in his performance could mean from this team, especially against a Miami team that could put Ray and Paul on the bench for extended periods due to foul trouble.

Also like Jermaine again.  He could do more on the boards, but his three blocks again not only were helpful, but set the tone to discourage NY from getting to the basket.

Another thrilling stat for me: Jeff Green played more minutes and took more shots than Big Baby.

And that's not a knock at Baby.  I like Baby; I just don't like him playing 30+ mpg with a large chunk of those coming at center.

good win. even though 4 of the starters logged in 30+ mins and winning by 17, i think all were relaxed in the end.. :)
Locker room's on a high right now, I hope the bench improves after this win.

Great win and I like how Doc didn't mess around with his bench.  How long before Von Wafer gets a chance?  Delonte's been so bad I'd limit him to spelling Rondo.

Let's not get carried away. Delonte will be (or at least needs to be) a big contributor off our bench. Remember when Rondo was in that horrible slump and Delonte pretty much single-handedly won us that game in New Orleans and some crazy people were saying Delonte should start over Rondo? Bad stretches happen, Delonte needs to snap out of it soon though

Agreed.  West will likely have several impressive games before all is said and done.  And remember, unless you're scorching hot and looking for your own shot, it's very hard to blow people away in 12 minutes.

I would spread the floor and go to Green in the post in the 2nd unit, with delonte as the 2nd option

Delonte isn't working at full capacity right now. Clearly bothered by all his injuries this season.

Hopefully, he can continue to get better as the playoffs go on ... but if not I am just looking for him to be an adequate placeholder at the backup PG slot ... rather than one of the league's better backup guards which he is when healthy.

Delonte looks like he's in a funk and it's painful watching that 2nd unit break down as they attempt to run an offense.  They need more aggresiveness from that entire group and for better or worse, that's Wafer's strong suit.

It's pathetic that Doc can't even rest his starters properly because the bench collectively isn't competitive.
