Could it have been that he was just completely uncomfortable w/ the defensive scheme? Maybe he just didn't understand the idea of starting with such an extreme cushion?

That was insane.

Basketball Jones just talked about it briefly on today's show.

Defense is part instinct, part effort, and part coaching. You can tell the Knicks (Melo in particular) are putting in the effort, but you can see the instincts and defensive coaching just isn't there with some headshaking plays and an inability to play defense for all 48 minutes.

I seen it.. the game was tied up at 78 to 78 with 7:14 in the 4th quarter….. did you see Ronny Turiaf  yelling at Toney Douglas  after it happened…  2 FUNNY !!!!!!!
