How about another nickname for Kevin Garnett. Burying that rock when it really counted. The Celtics have alot of weapons and this was just one example. On to New York with a 2-0 lead. That look on Spike Lee's face was priceless, at the end of the game.

How many games has KG won us with clutch defensive plays? This game and the Orlando game stick out in particular

JO was interviewed on MSG (Knicks telecast) and said KG asked for the ball there. You can see he was determined to go at Jeffries, and I doubt it would have been any different if it was Turiaf or Amar'e.

He followed up that clutch basket with his superb defense (as usual).

This was an awesome win. This is the playoffs and the Knicks wanted it bad. They may be the "worse team" but they are playing with tons of heart and desire. Hats off too our guys they played thier butts off tonight and found a way to get us another WIN!

Rondo was in Beast Mode, Pierce and KG were insane on defense. Paul is a tough guy, love him. KG what can you say. He wanted it more than anyone has ever wanted anything.
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

That hook shot just made me realize.. Why doesn't KG use that move anymore? In the post his go-to move has been mostly turnaround jumpers all year.

The irony is that KG couldn't hit a single shot for 47 minutes and a half, then took the biggest shot of the game, a tough one, and made it. Crazy!

And the following steal was equally awesome/great.

More like his entire career. KG has an amazing turn-around jumper, but McHale always wanted him to turn to his left with a baby-hook to keep the defense guessing.

KG's offensive repertoire is more impressive than what he utilizes.

Yes, Garnett absolutely needs to use that weapon in his arsenal far more often.

McHale has been wanting him to use that move more often.

The big three are the big three, they make the game winning plays time and time again.

AS long as they are all three playing, Boston has a chance to win anytime.

I actually feel more more comfortable  if its a close game down to the wire. Almost nobody , including heat has the closers or talent to NOT choke at the end of the game. They might let the other team back in the game time and time again, but long as its close , I think they pull it out better than anybody in the NBA.

The Lakers are the next best team at this , being out played by the other team the whole game except the final two minutes.

Celtics are a grind it out , execute team , and won't generally produce blowouts.

I'd be happy to win every game by 1 point.

KG just proved that he deserved more than 1 first-place vote in the DPOY balloting..
With the Knicks lacking bigs, we should really try to exploit that and have more post-ups in our offense. Kristc and Murphy should play more and KG and JO shoould get more touches..

Great shot by Garnett, I'm not sure if I'm more impressed that for once he put the team on his shoulders on a final offensive possession like that, or with the amazing rotation and steal he made at the end to seal the deal.

Still, I'm very nervous about the C's from these last two games.  It's only two games but they have yet to play a good game in the playoffs.  They're gonna have to play better than they did tonight if they want to last long.
