This about wraps it up for Davis tonight: Gave up two three point plays, goaltended a shot, committed a bone head foul at the end of the half to give up two free throws, and gave four or five uncontested layups inside.

All the starters were "pluses" tonight. All the bench guys were "minuses." Guess who lead the way for this minuses? Glen Davis of course.

He checked in late in the first and the Knicks quickly went on a 8-0 run to end the quarter. He checked in at the end of the 3rd and the Knicks go on something like a 15-3 run to take the lead a little into the 4th.

Just awful. Probably the worst player on the team that is playing right now. Can't wait for him to leave via FA.

Baby is too short to challenge shots, too slow to keep guys in front of him, and is not a good rebounder. You would think a guy with his build would learn to box out better.

Too bad Sheed retired. Even though he was old and out of shape, he is Smarter and more skilled. Sheed could have at least given us 3 to 4 minutes here and there.

The Murphy signing was pointless. I doubt he will get any minutes. He is a good rebounder, but he plays matador defense. Kristic looks lost out there, and is not getting minutes. Sadly, Baby is the best of what we have. I appreciate his intensity and hustle, but he is a goofball.

Please Lord, let Shaq come back soon, and healthy. I doubt that will happen though.  :(

I would gladly take Murphy, Krstic, or even Green for long stretches at PF over BBD. I think he hurts more than he helps.

When Jeffries is blowing by you, yeah, you can't help us. I know he came out to help because Melo was on fire, but you can't let that guy of all people to get to the rim like that.

Amare will destroy him.

Might at well go small with Green at PF.

The way Green played tonight, I'm not sure that that's a better option.

Green was -7 with the bench for the majority of his PT. Baby was -11 with a lot of time with the starters.

Green wasn't good, but Baby was obviously worse tonight.

I was screaming at the screen to put JO back in. Look at all the times we got stops but couldn't secure the rebound. Not saying that doesnt sometimes happen with JO but it happens a lot less. I would have flipped a lid if they had been able to score on that last possession where they got like 3 offensive rebounds. Not to mention I trust JO's shot way more than Baby's right now.

Best-case scenario would be for us to finish off the Knicks in 5 and give him another 10+ days to rest for Miami.

If we can finish off New York quick AND get Shaq back for Miami, I like us going forward.

Honestly, BBD is a more known commodity than any of those players. It is more surprising for him to have a game like tonight than for them to step up and will this team to victory.

Green is the only one who has the obvious talent to warrant crunch-time PT.

+1 to that. We have to sweep them or worst case, win in 5. That gives us the best chance to get ready for Miami. Starters will be well rested and Shaq will get some more healing time.
