I have OCD ... I have rituals for everything, haha! I'm usually at work during live games, so I wear my light blue Paul Pierce Baseball Jersey ... our scrubs are light blue, so they match, (though I sometimes get razzed for wearing it at work). If I'm at home, I have my Mom over from next door, (she has her Rondo Swing-Man Jersey on), and I wear a special T-Shirt that I and two other people here at CB wear during games for good luck, (plus I always have my Celtics dog tags and plastic Ubuntu bracelet on).

Sometimes we get take out Chinese or bar-b-que, but we always eat at 5:00 on game night.  Clean up the mess.  Feed the dog.  Get all my fetishes (I have as many as any bingo player), my keys with the Celtics chain, a little green leprechaun, a couple of green four leaf clover good luck pieces, my Celtics slippers and my Celtics cap!  Then get the table ready...laptop, pen,paper.  Make pot of coffee....ready, set, WIN!

I think I'm old/wise enough to know that I have no effect on the game, yet I still don't allow myself to wear any actual Celtics gear on gameday unless I'm actually going to the game. Weird, I know, but effective.

Yes.

When they lose, and I miss the game, I can't help but feel like it's my fault for not watching.

If I'm working, and the game is that day, I always wear my green tie.

If I'm at home, I have to be sitting in MY seat, with my celtic pajama pants on.

If I'm at a bar or restaurant watching the game, I don't talk to anybody unless a commercial or halftime.

1. When Celtics are playin away games I mute the TV.. I hate to hear the fans cheering against my team not to mention the bias announcers..

2. I stay away from people who I think are a JINKS

3. I try to wear something green when the game is on, if im watching it or not...

Kind of...I refuse to DVR games before or while they are playing. I know it has no effect, but it seems like whenever I do record the game they lose.

Also if someone leaves the room while the Celtics are on a run, I make them stay out...that one doesn't go over well with too many people.

it seem like that was happening 2me also.. everytime I DVR the Celtics games we lose.. No more DVR'ing Celtics games for me..
