Can we possibly notice that once again the Celtics found a way to win? No, probably not. We will now proceed with complaining about how much they suck.

Sure its 2-0..but do you really want to win games in this fashion? Games that are decided by one possession? Lady luck will not favour us everytime.

They need to play much better than they have played in these two games. I'll take the win and I'm happy that we won...but this was a very lacklustre performance. How can you even deny that?

Well this might be a good discussion if they lose not when they win

Why? A win should give the team a free pass? No Billups, no Amare and it came down to the last possession once again. Why is it wrong to point out our team's flaws or criticize their effort?

So, one basket is the difference between a poor performance and a good one?  That doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

The Celts closed out well, and it was an entertaining game.  At the end of the day, the Celts held home court.  However, I think a lot of fans have a right to be a little worried about the way we played, coming off a poor end to the regular season.

Found a way to win?  I guess.  I'm happy with the win, and it was entertaining.  However, it shouldn't have been this big of a struggle without Amare and Chauncey in there.

A win is a win is a win.

Sure, and we've got two of them in a row.  However, if people aren't particularly encouraged by how poor we've looked, I'm not going to call them out for it.  The team beat Carmelo and the Pips by one basket tonight.

great post Roy....the rebounding tonight was unacceptable. no way should one guy keep a team in it

If JO is healthy, I see no reason why he shouldn't be there in the closing minutes.

My guess is, he's not healthy.  Doc might love Baby, but he's not an idiot.

Not only was Melo playing the part of Zeus today with a chip on his shoulder, but KG was out of rhythm and some of our boys didn't have very good games. So it goes both ways just sayin. Both teams were hungry and nothing better than D getting the win. One game at a time, folks. L.A. and San Antonio lost their first games to the underdogs. Just like they'd say we won cause they're without Billups and Amare we can say we haven't even played our best ball yet and would dominate with Shaq in the lineup. It goes both ways. So much heart in those last minutes.

game 3 is pretty much the series...boston wins and it is over...if the knicks get over the hump esp with a big win...then it is going to go 7 IMO

The only reason this game was close was due to the second chances the Knicks got and more generally, the difference in rebounding between the 2 teams. It's an issue that needs to be addressed and adjusted right away.

Watching the post game, Rondo's streaking. Doc needs to get Green out there at the same time to run with him. They made for each other.

Yes the rebounding was awful.. Yes the Knicks ended up playing mostly a bunch of scrubs and Carmelo.. but this is still a fantastic win. 90% of the league loses against a Melo performance for the ages like that. Obviously room for improvement but still, great win

I'd have to have rolled with either O'Neal or Green late, as well.  If you want to out-big them with good defense and rebounds, go with O'Neal.  If you want to match up with their size, go with Green.  Baby seemed like the worst of both worlds in this case.

But I'll take it.

Oh, and by the way...

Maybe we could get the league to reverse the Perk trade. ;)

(Just kidding, folks.)

Was Murphy inactive tonight? I think he wouldn't do worse than Baby for a few minutes.

It has to do with them going small. BBD usually closes games for us anyhow.
