Melo's on fire...this game is over, folks

Carmelo will win this on a last shot.

KG graciously sets up Melo for a game-winner.

Tsk tsk, boys... Tsk, tsk.

Ha!

TP's for everyone though, even those who gave up early as usual.  :P

Good on you -- frustrations aside, we all want our team to succeed.

KG is just killing us in every aspect of the game.  :'(

I feel like he came good at the end there :)

Awesome finish. Really gutsy closure. Pretty disappointed we let it get that close but I'll take the win and move on.

my heart won't stand a lot of lousy performances with Big Lazy playing a ton of minutes.

i can second that.
it's not only my heart, my poor wife can't stand my groans, grumbles and "aww, come on!!!"s....

The panic by some is just a matter of a short memory.

In the 4 years here, the big 3 celtics dominated the first round once, against the heat last year.

Remember the hawks? remember the bulls? we've been here before.

Can we possibly notice that once again the Celtics found a way to win? No, probably not. We will now proceed with complaining about how much they suck.

Sure its 2-0..but do you really want to win games in this fashion? Games that are decided by one possession? Lady luck will not favour us everytime.

They need to play much better than they have played in these two games. I'll take the win and I'm happy that we won...but this was a very lacklustre performance. How can you even deny that?

Well this might be a good discussion if they lose not when they win

Would've preferred to see JO down the stretch.  We gave up way too many rebounds and interior buckets.  And that's not a shot at BBD.  He's 6-6 and has no lift.  We can't expect him to do that.

Way to close out, but next time, more shots for Ray Allen. Thank you.

very relieved with the win - they gutted out another one - Celts deserve credit for that.

what bothers me is that they look like they are playing hard - they're giving the effort, but all that trying often doesn't produce much. they hustle, hustle, hustle and then you look up and they haven't gained anything on the scoreboard.

there is effort without much punch.

Davis playing big minutes HAS GOT TO STOP! If Doc doesn't get that, we're in for a loooooong series.

Found a way to win?  I guess.  I'm happy with the win, and it was entertaining.  However, it shouldn't have been this big of a struggle without Amare and Chauncey in there.

A win is a win is a win.

Sure, and we've got two of them in a row.  However, if people aren't particularly encouraged by how poor we've looked, I'm not going to call them out for it.  The team beat Carmelo and the Pips by one basket tonight.

As muc as I want to believe that's true, sometimes I wonder. (That's not a hit on you, just a comment on the general negativity around these parts nowadays.)

Always happy to get a win, but it should not have come so far. Rondo's 1st quarter should have sparked our bench to run with the Knicks, instead they just went cold. Still some work to do with our rotations...

KG was soooo clutch on both ends in the final seconds.

If JO is healthy, I see no reason why he shouldn't be there in the closing minutes.
