Dumb, dumb foul by Davis. I hope that we don't relax because Amare is out.

This is going to sound negative, so if that's not your thing, skip this post.

Okay.  I'm genuinely worried about this team.  I'm not sure if you guys remember last year, but in the Heat series, it seemed very clear to me almost immediately that the team was playing in a different gear.  They just looked a lot better once the playoffs started.

This year...  not so much.  This team still looks as erratic -- and at times, downright bad -- as it did at the end of the regular season.  I'm worried that there is no "switch", that what we see is what we're going to get.  If that's the case, I'm not sure that we're going to like how this season ends.

Anyway, I'll still be hoping that they kick it into the next gear.  The talent is there, without question.

Yeah, the offense is still stuck in a tailspin.  We're unable to consistently generate quality shots for our top scorers.

Big Baby is absolute GARBAGE. I'm not sure he could play worse if he wanted to.

I have lost the count of his dumb plays but he basically let Melo run easily to the hoop on a switch, then let Jeffries attempt an easy shot, let him got the offensive board and putback, then got outpowered by the same Jared "can't score" Jeffries and then gave two FTs to the Knicks on a dumb foul with 1.4 left to give them the lead back before halftime.

Great game Glen, I guess the only positive is that he isn't forcing shots anymore...

Anyway, we should have taken advantage of Stoudemire's absence but didn't and we're down by. Not good. Gotta get on a run early in the 3rd to get some breathing room.

Jeff Green and Krstic have given us nothing so far...and that includes the regular season games too.

I really like what I see out of Green when he's on the floor.  His real problem is that he just doesn't play a position of need for us right now.  Krstic is useless, but it might be better to have him out there instead of Davis....

Do you think if Baby fouls out Doc will try to sneak him into the game?

This is just getting ridiculous.  Why Baby came in to begin with is beyond me.

Who you going to put in there instead, though?  Krstic?  Jeff ****' Green?  Dropkick?  Play KG and JO 42 minutes each?

I don't want him in never.  But with JO sitting out the first half of the second quarter, there was no reason for BBD to come back in for the final 2 minutes.

JO has played 13 minutes so far...on pace to play 26 minutes, not 42.

Ray Allen really has no passing skills whatsoever

May be the worst fast break passer in the league.

And yet he sent Rondo away once or twice, something Rondo couldn't do for him in the first matchup ::)

Considering it seems the Knicks are basically Melo with four guys that arguably wouldn't even start on the worst teams in the league, this is not really looking good. The rebounding and offensive efficiency need to step up, it seems like they are only floating right now, due to the running in the first quarter.

Pierce and KG have to get it going at some point or we're in trouble! Two games in a row that they are totally off.
I agree but it looks like they are expending all their energy on defense and are just gassed to hit anything. I worry about that, and that you know it is just the second game of the first round.  >:(

Can we just let this game play out before determining it to be a failure (like Sunday).  Bulls trailed both of their games late v. #8 seed Indiana.  Spurs lose to #8 seed.  Lakers lose to #7 seed.    C's are up 1-0 and down by 1 at the half in game 2.
Sky is neither bright nor falling.  Not enough data yet for a reliable forecast.
