KG second, Rondo fifth and - wait for it - our old friend TA at #4. I'm happy for all of them.

How was Rondo voted 5th???his constant letting his man blow past him then desperately swipe from behind was so annoying

As long as KG and Rondo both get 1st team all-defense, I'm satisfied

Besides that slump of his, he's been defending pretty well for the most part. I think he deserved it.

Much as I hate to admit it, Dwight was the easy winner this year ... great job by KG and Rondo, and congrats to TA - really nice to see him playing so well, (though I'm a little miffed that he saved it for Memphis). ;)

Boris, I keep thinking you're The Walker Wiggle ... you guys have the same avatar! :) (TP for the post).

1. Congrats on to KG and Rondo for being the 2nd and 5th in votes for DPOY. Also congrats to Tony Allen he's having a great year in Memphis and I'm happy to see a former Celtics doing well. I knew Dwight was gonna win whether the KG argument stood or not.
2. As a question since Rondo is voted in as 5th, does that mean he's on the All 1st Defensive Team and does that mean he's the best defensive point guard?

Rondo being 5th in the voting is an absolute joke. His backup, Delonte West, is a better defensive player than he is.

Rondo is a "great" defensive player with his steals like Iverson was a "great" scorer in 2001-02--scoring 31.4 points a game, but only shooting 39%.

Congrats to both. Completely baffled on how the hell Rondo gets voted 5th in the league though.

LOL maybe at least on 2k11 he is, I use D West to shut down the Westbrooks and Roses when they get going :D

So happy for Tony Allen, he worked his butt off when he was in Celtic green gaining alot of fandom for that, seems to finaly be paying off.

And what did you know, when he said he was overshadowed here (allthough i am 110% sure he said that out of bitterness/frustration over the Celtics not matching the offersheet from memphis) he might actualy have been right.

"Maybe we can start, all over again" here's to hopening TA returns to Celtic green before he ends his carrer.

Rondo & Garnett isnt a surprise but i def think that people now value him as one of the best guard defenders in the league and i think its awsome that he' gets some recognition for that.

No offense, but didn't you say you wanted Delonte starting over him and that you wanted Rondo traded?

Yea, considering that, it says a lot that coaches who probably don't get to see ROndo play as much as you do feel he's a better defensive player than what you (or anyone else) give him credit for.
